Advantages: Lots of new additions to the traditional game

Disadvantages: Repetitive if you play it a few times

I like monopoly. Who doesn't. I believe that it is one of those board games that just get better with age. When i was little it was the excitment of getting all the houses before everyone else. Now its the possibility of cutting deals all over the board to keep in the money.

When i saw this game i was sceptical first. I am not a fan of DVD games. However this game simply uses the DVD as an aid to get the board going. Its the original monopoly, collecting properities, building house (beach huts in this one) and hotels (resorts). However there is the introduction of 4 new building. Casinos, parks, piers and resturants. When you land on one of these you have to select it on the DVD to see who owes who what. It adds more excitement to the game i think. There is also telivised community chest and chance.

Another addition to the game is the new broadcast that you watch if it comes up on the dice. This is yet another treat to the game, giving more possibilities to the way the game will pan out.

There are some bad points however. First off the news. However fun it is, once you've seen them all, its just something to skip in the end. Its a clever idea, but if you play the game with the same people, it'll get annoying watching the same thing over and over. Another bad point is that you have to have at least 3 people to play. Its not major but the option of just 2 would be nice

Summary: Worth a go for any monopoly fan
