Advantages: Great game.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive.
Among all the board games, Monopoly is the one that I love most. In fact, I reckon that it is the most famous one. There are so many different languages of Monopoly, such as my language Chinese and Malay. Additionally, there are different of PC games of Monopoly released for examples, Star Wars monopoly, and so forth. We can really see that how famous of this board game is. This is a very simple game with simple rules which I think everyone in every ages (of course not for those babies or small kids). There can be more than two players (of course more players will be more fun, I think the maximum number of players is four to six). One of them can be allocated to manage the bank (of course he or she can join the game). During the whole game, players are competing to each other, buying the favourite lands, building the houses on the owned lands, increasing his or her property by investing more money on houses and lands and lastly trying to earn money from others. Bankrupcy meaning game over to a player. And the last standing player of course is the richest player who surely is claimed to be the winner. Friends or family members can really enjoy the game after a nice dinner. I like it because we can share a lot of thoughts, laughters and so on over a game. However since this game is so famous, therefore the game's price is quite expensive for me (about 39.99 pounds one). I really hope that the price can be level down to a reasonable level so that everyone can own one.

- 08/12/00 This is a family favourite of ours and amid all the arguing I really think they do enjoy the game. |

- 08/12/00 I never mangaged to get as far as building houses - I've always chucked the board in the air and stormed off in a strop by then! Good point, though - why is it so expensive? Another £20 and you could buy a playstation instead... Much more fun! ;o) |
