I love Monopoly. Its better than all the other games put in together. Whenever me and my family are bored, we always play monopoly after a cote on what we should do. This simple game with alll the familiar places which we know so well (especially the green set where you can do all your christmas shopping) has come a long way and has not gone out of style as the new games have come in.
How to play:
In this game you can either give out or buy different properties. When your opponents land on them they have to give you soem money. If you have the whole set withoiut any buildings on them you get double the rent. Also you can build but thats only if you have the whole set. The more houses you build the more money you get (not to mention that it costs you more to build on it as well). You can only build one houses on each set per turn. If you go to jail you cant build but you can still collect money from your propeties. If you land on chance or community chest you have to do what it says.
You are out of the game when you are in debt to someone and even if you do morgage your properties(this means to give the property to the bank for a short period of time. you get half te rice that you paid for it an dwhen you want to unmorgage it you have to pay the bank in full) or sell houses because you cant raise enough money.
The way to win:
Monopoly is a game which needs a good strategy and a bit of luck. Without these two factors you can never win. Even if you have the best sets without the strategy you will never succeed.
