Plain and simple - Monopoly is fun! I remember playing Monopoly with my brothers when I was young. Every Sunday, or on a rainy day, we'd sit down and play a good game of Monopoly. I looked forward to those days that we sat down and played Monopoly.

Monopoly game rules are simple. Whoever ends up with the most money, wins! To acquire money, you must go around the board, and buy up properties that range from cheap lots of land, to the expensive land. After you buy up property, you then deal and trade with others so that you may have a "Monopoly" of property. Then, it comes time to buy houses and hotels and charged whoever lands on your property rent! Which means more money in your pocket, and a good chance of winning the game. There are also other "lots" on the board that you land on too to help you win (and lose!) money like luxury tax and chance and community chest. So even if you don't get rent from your opponents, at least you earn some by landing on these. You also get money by going around the board, you receive £200. I like to be the slumlord. That way, you buy the land real cheap, and then have enough money to build! And whatever my opponent does, they can't help but land on them a few times, which means money for me. I always make sure that they never have enough money leftover to buy the more "pricey" lands, like Park Lane and Mayfair.

Now, Monopoly has many other versions. You can get the golf version, Millennium version, major city version, star wars monopoly, football monopoly, you name it, monopoly has a different version of it. What other game has so many versions? But out of them all, the original will be the best.

I think Monopoly is going to be around for a long time. More so than any arcade game or other game out there. There is something magical about Monopoly. Something special. Both young and old alike can play. There is no discrimination when it comes to Monopoly.
