Ever wondered why board games are called board games? They are so called because you must ber board to play them. You get even more board as you play!

Monopoly is one of the most boaring of them. It goes on for hours as people argue over the rules. How much do you pay to get out of jail, what happens to all the fines, what do you get for landing on Free Parking. There are so many combinations of rules that people play that they never actually know the rules of the game.

Once you have sorted out the rules you are going to pay then comes the game. Hours and hours go by as people buy property, charge rent, buy houses charge more rent, buy hotels charge even more rent.

It is a game of chance which lasts for hours. I have played it till I can stand it no longer. I have watched others play until the sun rises.

Why do so many people play such senceless games? How can b=people spend so long throwing dice and moving pieces.

Next time I hear the name Monopoly I shall avoid the monotony and run away. I am sure I have a good book to read!
