Advantages: great fun for everyone
Disadvantages: could go on forever
My favourite game of all time, the only disadvantage is that the longest game I have played lasted for about three weeks! This is such a good game, I was given a game for my 12th birthday and since then it has been a family favourite. I think that unless your child is eight they will find it very difficult to get to grips with, mostly due to the mathematics when dealing with the money. The game itself is based on all the famous central London road names, and as you land on them while travelling around the board, you are able to purchase the properties to collect sets and then go on to buy houses and then progress to hotels. You start off with £1500 and if a person becomes bankrupted they have to go out of the game and the one person left is the winner. There are many more rules and extra rules that people have adapted within their own family, such as one that I encountered when going to a friends house. When you land directly on go you receive £400, which it a great advantage if you are loosing.
