If you want to stay friends never play monopoly, this is the quickest way to loose your friends and to have a massive family argument, within two hours.

We have always had this fabulous board game shoved in the top of a wardrobe, ready for us to play on a rainy day.

When I was a child, I would play monopoly with my brother and sister. But with me being the youngest they always took advantage. For example stealing from the bank, hiding all of the good chance and community chest cards and even stealing the house cards so I could never get a street.

My brother and sister used to make the rules up as they went along, so I never won.

As I got older I became wise to their antics, and this is when the trouble started. When we were playing fists were always flying and hair was getting pulled, right from the start when the first dice was rolled.

In the end our mother chucked our beloved monopoly in the bin, as she said that we were too noisy and that we should not be fighting with each other over something so silly.

Years later when I left home, I purchased another monopoly set in the sales.

When I got home my boy friend was over the moon. He said he loved the game but his mother would never let him have it, when he was little.

Well we were heading for disaster as soon as the game started, we kept on shouting and screaming at each other, as each of us thought that the other was cheating.

I could not believe it my boy friend got so worked up over a little game of monopoly.

We decided that me, my boyfriend and monopoly did not mix very well. So we popped it in cupboard and it has been there ever since.

So if you and your family are up for a good fight then you have got to play monopoly.

THE GAME.

This is for all of you who have never played it. Although I feel that almost every one has at some time or another.

Basically you have to roll the dice, and m
ove your hat, ship, dog etc around the board. And collect property and cash along the way.

The person with the most property and cash is the winner.

OTHER GAMES.

You can get monopoly as a board game, for the pc and play station.

If you are going to play I would advise you to play on a computer, so that there is no chance of any cheating.

This will also reduce the rise of you having any arguments.
