Whoa! If you play this old classic game against someone like my boyfriend you know they take its name to heart!! I was slaughtered! “Monopoly”, an old family favourite for up to 6 players from Waddingtons in the old trademark simple red and white box – my set is ancient but it doesn’t seem to have changed much ... The Coronation Street version of Monopoly by Waddingtons is the same as original Monopoly except instead of the squares being set in London they are set on Coronation Street. Old Kent Road is now Roys Rolls. Mayfair is the Rovers Return. Park Lane is The Snug. The kids have really got into this game and have played it every day ... Read the complete review

Hands up the few of us who haven’t played monopoly… … … Still waiting for someone to own up! This is one of those games that every household has somewhere, be it hidden behind the jumper granny knitted last Christmas or on proud display next to the TV, it is one of those non essential items that everyone seams to love and ... My favourite game of all time, the only disadvantage is that the longest game I have played lasted for about three weeks! This is such a good game, I was given a game for my 12th birthday and since then it has been a family favourite. I think that unless your child is eight they will find it very difficult to get to grips with, mostly ... Read the complete review

Monopoly must be the most played board game ever, in the world, I mean is there anyone out there that has not dabbled in this superbly addictive and competitive board game, and at the same time, had many an argument with friends and family over the rules and various other things. I know the game is a very old concept, but it is a pure classic, ... Read the complete review

Ever wondered why board games are called board games? They are so called because you must ber board to play them. You get even more board as you play! Monopoly is one of the most boaring of them. It goes on for hours as people argue over the rules. How much do you pay to get out of jail, what happens to all the fines, what do you get ... Read the complete review

Monopoly is a board game that seems to have been around forever. The basic idea is that you (and the other players) have to buy land, build houses or hotels on the land and then try to send each other broke. You move round the board (which is based on London road names and places) and when you land on someone elses property you have to pay them. ... Read the complete review

Our version of monopoly has been in the family for a number of years and belongs to my mother and it is the original version based on London. My parents and I enjoy playing it, it helped me understand maths when I was younger because I didnt understand the concept of money at all and so playing this game helped me understand. Today, it's the best-selling board game in the world, licensed or sold in 80 countries and produced in 26 languages including Croatian. But where did the Monopoly game come from? Monopoly is a great game. Each country has its own specific game designed with different streets. The same rules apply and these turn out to be very frustrating in the end. At the Irish Young Scientist, a few years ago, the winner was a study on the probability of Monopoly. He found that the last red house at the top right was the most ... Read the complete review

Monopoly is a vicious board game which involves building a strong financial position for yourself at the detriment of others. It can be played with up to 6 players at the start but the number may steadily reduce as they become bankrupt and cannot continue. The board has 40 squares which has on it a series of properties, railway stations ... Read the complete review

The purpose of this game is to have the most money when you are done. The way you do that is buying property and building houses and hotels on it. Then you can charge the big rent. This game is fun but it does remind me of life in a way. The rich get richer while the poor suffer. Sorry if this put a damper on ... Read the complete review

Probably popular for letting people have a grand amount of money. Beat your opponents and rub your cash in their face. Send them to jail or make them sell all their valuable properties to you or let them suffer in their great total of debt. This game can be a lot to grasp a hold of the first time you play it but in time you learn to be master of ... Read the complete review

"Advance to Mayfair" hubby read from the card with an evil grin on his face. "ARGH" I screamed as he picked up his car playing piece and plonked it on Mayfair and shouted, "BUYING IT!" and then childishly stuck his tongue out at me as I reluctantly handed the card over. So what are we playing you're ... Read the complete review
