Advantages: Colourful (all I could think to say)

Disadvantages: Frustrating false starts, badly made

I remember this game as a child and exactly what I remembered rings true for the current version. The game consists of a board and loads of platic bits that make up the mouse trap. You roll the dice and build up the trap as you play. The plastic parts slot into the cardboard playing board. First deja vu moment was trying to fit the plastic tabs into the slots that are cut into the board, how frustrating.

As the game progresses, the trap completes. Second moment of deja vu, placing that metal ball at the kick off point and it goes off by accident, meaning you either have to grab it, or wait then reset the trap.

It is all a bit of an anti-climax, as when the person you want to trap is in position and you set the mousetrap going, it is more than likely that you have seen it all before with the false starts. In my opinion, the game idea is weak. The design is even weaker as after a dozen games the board fittings become weak and it does not slot together that well. I wouldn't bother with this one, there are a lot better games available.

Summary: I wouldn't bother with this one, there are a lot better games available
