My daughter got this game for Christmas a couple of years ago and it was the updated version of the game which sees you flushing ballbearings down a toilet pan with the unknown factor here being that the ball can exit any side and depending which side it comes out then it can set off any one of the many traps dotted around the ...  Read the complete review

In the modern age where many children are more absorbed in their electronic games such as those from Nintendo and Sony, it can be hard to get a child to play a traditional board game. Mousetrap differs from many board games in how the game is fully interactive. As you move your piece around the board, you, the player has to ...  Read the complete review

At risk of giving away my age I'll admit I played Mousetrap when I was a kid around thirty(ish) years ago. Another risk in writing this review is that I might just blast away another one of my fond childhood memories. I thought I loved Mousetrap, was sure I did, was sure my kids would love it too. Sadly wrong on both ...  Read the complete review

Will your mouse live to fight another day? (217 words)

Mousetrap is another much loved childhood game of mine. I would think twice about buying it for a child who is careless with their toys, however, as a broken or lost piece would be likely to render the whole game useless. The basic premiss is that you move your mouse playing piece around the board, landing on squares that ...  Read the complete review

I remember this game as a child and exactly what I remembered rings true for the current version. The game consists of a board and loads of platic bits that make up the mouse trap. You roll the dice and build up the trap as you play. The plastic parts slot into the cardboard playing board. First deja vu moment was trying to fit the ...  Read the complete review

Always wanted to play this game as a child but never came around to it, so recently I bought it for some cousins and told them id put it up for them. Mousetrap is ages for ages 6+ and suggests a parent 'helps' to assist putting it up! WELL! I will say it was a total nightmare! The instructions were useful but didnt explain fully and ...  Read the complete review

I looked after my friends child for a night last week, whilst her and her husband went out for something to eat, they left me with their 7 year old daughter who i have never met before. After her deliberating what to do she decided to go and fetch mousetrap. I remember it from when i was young, but I remembered that my parents would ...  Read the complete review

This must be the most frustrating game to play, even more so than the actual game Frustration, the reason is that this game does not set out to be frustrating it just is. I remember when I was young wanting it so badly and then being disappointing well at the weekend it was ny neice turn to share the experience as she had got ...  Read the complete review

Growing up in the late 80's/early 90's you could not escape adverts for this board game. There was even a TV programme or competition based on the board game I believe. You always knew someone who had the game, but were too afraid to ask. I pleaded with my parents to get me the game, sure enough, that Xmas.... ...  Read the complete review

I cannot believe that this is the first opinion on Mousetrap. Mousetrap was the favourite game at our primary school. If you didn't have Mousetrap you didn't have respect. Basically you were a mouse and you rolled the dice to get along the board, however there were loads of traps on the way, and whenever you landed on ...  Read the complete review
