More than just a game! (Mr Pop)

This was one my childhood favourites that my brother and I played time after time after time. I never tired of the whole thing popping up and I never made it through a game without 'jumping out of my skin'!

The game has very basic rules which makes it ideal for young children. All you need to do is pick a card which has a 'face' on it, push the face back until your feel it 'click', turn the timer and make the face before the timer runs out. When your time is up, the face 'pops' up and sends all of the pieces flying across the room.

The game is a lot of fun and helps young children to recognize copy what they see. It's also great for the fine motor skills because some of the pieces can be a little fiddly to fit in the gaps.

The pieces provided are made of sterdy stuff and although the actual face appears a little flimsy at first, it would take a lot of force to actually break it.

The game comes with a lot of different pieces including different eyes, noses and mouths but my all time favourite was the glasses! The fun we had putting these on each is something that won't be forgotton. We'd spend ages role playing with the glasses!

My brother and I would sometimes use this to play the proper game but more often than we would fill the face with lots of the pieces and then put our head near the face. When the timer stopped we'd end nearly taking our eyes out as a pair of glasses stabbed us! Childish humour!

The other thing that is fun to do is to pop the game on the edge of the table and wait for the face to pop up. Somehow the pieces fly a lot further than usual and if you have someone that you don't like then just stand them in the firing line!

This is a great game for kids! It's fun, scary and although it can get a little boring after a while there are other things that can be done with the equipment provided.

Summary: Mr pop is a bad man!
