Advantages: A good laugh

Disadvantages: Can get very competitive

This game is one that we have had in our cupboard for a while. It's great when you have friends over and even better if you've had a tipple or two. I'm not going to go into all of the rules but it's basically a team game where you use the art of drawing to win.

The great thing about this game is the drawings that seem to come out of the people. Some take great care in what they are doing but the timer has run put before they get half way through whilst others rush so much that you can't work out what they've drawn.

If you are anything like me then you will feel such a pressure because not only do you want to do your best for your team mates but you want to make the process as easy for them as possible. If you are winning then you will be arrogant and rub it in the other team's noses but if you are losing then you are moody and you will have such a knot in your stomach that you want to smash someone's face in. The competitiveness is unreal!

The funniest thing about this game is what it makes the players do. I have this classic action that I will do in every game without fail; I know I am doing it, I know it's ridiculous but I just can't stop myself. I will draw my picture very fast and my team members will have no clue of what I have sketched so I will proceed to point with my pen as if that would make the whole thing cleaer to them and they will know exactly what it is. They all look at me shaking their heads and instead of trying to expand on my drawing or start again, I continue on with the pointing until the time is up! What is that all about???

This game is great if you have a lot of people playing but it can be a little boring if it's one on one because it just doesn't have that edge to it. I would highly recommend it and it's especially good to play at family gatherings or if you have someone in the family who can't draw, just make sure that they don't end up on your team!

Summary: Highly recommended!
