What a fantastic game! It just never gets old. My parents bought pictionary one christmas to play when I was a child. It must have been about 20 years ago. I loved it and it has been my favourite game ever since. It comes out every christmas and when we have friends over. This classic version contains a board which you have to move ... As a child who enjoyed drawing this was one of my favourite childhood boardgames and still is. The game is played by at least 2 teams of 2 or more players. The teams move around the board by rolling a dice, and on each go take it in turns to draw a picture of something (e.g. an eskimo, Japan, or Tim Henman) written on one of the cards ... This game is one that we have had in our cupboard for a while. It's great when you have friends over and even better if you've had a tipple or two. I'm not going to go into all of the rules but it's basically a team game where you use the art of drawing to win. The great thing about this game is the drawings that seem to come out of ... I am very aware that this site requires opinion of a product and not really a detailed explanation of the product itself. For the sake of this review, it should be enough to say that Pictionary is a game where two opposing teams have to battle it out against each-other. One member of each team has a card with things written on it (films, songs, ... Read the complete review

My favourite board game! It can get a bit hectic but my whole family join in and play this so it does suit all ages. It probably works best with about two teams - each team with two or three people in it - more then that then chaos ensues! I don't think you necessarily have to be artistic, but you do need to be quick thinking and be ... Read the complete review

Pictionary is a great game for the more creative of game lovers. It involves drawing pictures to clues such as 'black hole' or 'sand bag' for your team mates to guess correctly. Sometimes you will be drawing in competition with the other teams, and sometimes just against the timer (which I have found to be much easier). You move round the board ... Read the complete review

Pictionary is a great game which combines as its name suggests the words of the dictionary with pictures. It is a great party game and you need a very minimum of about 6 players to make it work The object of the game is to determine a word based on the picture someone else draws for you. The first thing you may say is ; well I can't ... Read the complete review

Before I start, let me paint you a picture. Imagine a household full of amazingly competitive people, who take playing board games personally. Imagine now, that we move into a board game where the personal skill of someone in both the fields of interpretation and art, as well imagination, could start an argument which could last for days. Sound ... Read the complete review

If I could do that, I would be the master of the game. But without using letters, numbers, or any slightly misleading hand gestures, I find that an almost impossible task. If you have ever played Pictionary, you will understand mainly what I am talking about. However if not (and there can not be that many), it probably means less to you ... Read the complete review

When pictionary was first described to me I was not very enthusiastic, I thought that drawing pictures and getting other people to guess what they were would just be a waste of time. I soon however changed my mind, Pictionary is a true classic that is great for family bonding, the games involves much hilarity and can easily last a few ... Read the complete review

With it still practically being Christmas and all, I thought I'd write about an excellent game which becomes especially excellent, at this festive time of year. I'm not really 100% sure on the rules, but that really doesn't matter with this game. As long as you have a basic idea, its a great fun for all the family to play. ... Read the complete review

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat, the dust is being blown off the box of Pictionary that's been at the back of the cupboard all year. That's the scenario in our house, anyway, and I, for one, am looking forward to it. Usually a Boxing Day ritual these days, commencing with a hunt for enough (sharp) pencils for ... I was bought this game for christman a good few years ago when I was still living at home and I still have and play it now... The new version of pictionary is even better. They have added more new questions and looks good too. This is still one of the best games around and the more people the merrier. I used to watch the TV programme where they did this and I wondered how it was they could never work it out. It is simple. You get a card with the word on it. You then have to communicate that word to your team members by drawing. From the picture your work out the word. Naturally, the real pressure is being timed. Success ... Read the complete review

For frustration, fun and laughter galore this is the game to play. Make sure you have plenty of spare paper because people always seem to think that drawing in large sizes will make it easier for the watcher to guess what it is they are drawing!!!!! This is a great parlour game which is played in pairs. The idea is that you take a card from one of 6 categories, chosen for you by where you land on a board from a throw of the dice. You are then supposed to draw what is on the card so that your partner guesses it. Some cards are easy, like table, but some are really quite taxing like ... Read the complete review
