Advantages: simple to play can play upto 4 players

Disadvantages: none

My children love this. It is a 4+ toy but a younger child can play this with supervision. It is 4+ because the swords can be put into younger childrens mouths.

This game consists of a machanical priate in a barrel that has holes around it that the colourful swords slot into. Each person will have all the swords of their chosen colour (red, green, blue, yellow). The pirates head will then be pushed down into the barrel so his face can not be seen. In turn they will each place one sword into a slot of their choice and hope that the pirate does not pop up or they loose. The person who manages to get all their swords or the most of their swords into the barrel is the winner, not that the children are interested in who is the winner they are more take back by laughing when the pirate jumps up due to they jump at the same time.

This toy cost me £9.99 from agros about 3 years ago and we have had endless fun playing with this toy. I think I may have played with it more than the children. I have found it is a good family time toy that brings us all together and will make everyone laugh when it pops up (even I still jump at times).

Summary: Good family time toy
