Advantages: For all the family, and at a reasonable price.

An excellent game! I remember this well from my childhood, and as soon as my son received some gift vouchers we decided to get this for him too.
At only 2.5 he's a little young for Pop Up Pirate which is recommended at 4 years +, however, with adult supervision I'm happy for him to play this.

A typical 2 yr old, he can be nervous sometimes, but mostly fearless, and loves when the pirate pops up as it makes him jump.

This game, although only owned for a week, has been played countless times and is already a firm favourite. My son is able to set up the game himself, separate the coloured swords, and has already learnt how to take turns. Something which will stand him in good stead when he attends nursery and has to learn to share!

And, to top it all, it reminds me of my own childhood and I am happy to sit and play this for hours too! A great family game, for all the family and comes in under a tenner!

Summary: A wonderful game, suitable for all ages, and educational from a social aspect.
