Most of you will of at least heard of the children's game Pop Up Pirate, I remember having this game as a child and last year it was on my son's Christmas list, however it was going off the shelves quickly so I was lucky to get one.

** The Aim Of The Game **

The game is for 2-4 players, each player will have a set of swords. The players need to take in turns placing their swords into the barrel, where the pirate is, until one of the swords will make the pirate pop out of the barrel.

** The Packaging **

This game comes inside a cardboard box, which is quite sturdy. The box is colourful and filled with pictures of the game and pirate etc. On the back of the box it gives a list of basic instructions etc.

** The Contents **

The product consists of 1 pirate, 1 barrel, 24 coloured swords, 1 barrel base and some stickers, which are used to decorate the barrel and base.

** Price and Availability **

This product is available from most toy retailers and many other retailers such as Tesco etc, it is also available online at places such as amazon and ebay. It retails for approximately £9.99-£11.99.

** Overall Opinion **

I love the fact the my child gets the same amount of enjoyment from this game as I did as a child, it just goes to show that this is an original, authentic and timeless children's classic.

I think the game provides excellent value for money and allows your child to engage with others and also allows you to interact with your child in a way that you can all enjoy.

The game doesn't take very long to play but I think its long enough for a child. My son also like to play with the swords and the pirate separately (not as part of the game) so it actually serves more than one purpose.

Overall I would rate this product 5/5, it's a great, fun game for children and wont break easily.
