Advantages: umm, kids under 9 might find it funny that someones been given a black eye by this plastic p***k!

Disadvantages: its just plain SCARY. This little b****rd can, and WILL, jump out of his barrel and hit someone! Well... it scared the asses of us!

Last week I realised why I never got a Pop Up Pirate as a Christmas present when I was a little girl. I thought it was because my Mum and Dad kept on forgetting (although I pestered them constantly about it!) but NOW I know why, THIS THING IS DANGEROUS AND SCARY!!!

I stayed round a friends house last week and we all got fairly drunk (well... very drunk!) and my friend decided to get Pop Up Pirate out of her cupboard shouting "Look What I've found!" We all decided to play this game oblivious to our fate!

Bascially theres this plastic guy in a barrel - looking at you with this really evil glint in his eye. And up to 4 people stick these plastic swords in this barrel in turn. And then at any moment this evil, nasty b***ard jumps up into the air and hits someone on the head! And the person who put the sword in that makes this man jump is the loser.

So I bet you're asking why do I not like this game? Well we played this game, drunk, and like ten times (my mates found it husterically funny!)
And indeed EVERY time this bloke popped out of his barrel/box thing it scared the ASSES out of us! But the last time we played this plastic TW*T hit my best mate on the head and ended up GIVING HIM A BLACK EYE! YES! A BLACK EYE! On the box it said something like "suitable for 5+ years" and it gave my 19 year old friend A BLACK EYE!

I would recommend this game to anyone under 9 who finds it funny when someone gets a black eye off a piece of plastic painted like a pirate (well to be honest we found it quite funny at the time!) and please dont play it if you have a heart condition!

It doesnt take long to play (around ten minutes) But because of the anticipation it was one of the longest ten minutes in my life!

If you ever get the chance to play this game - dont play it drunk - someone might get seriously hurt! Even better still just dont play it!
