Fab game, good fun but highly addictive!

I got this game for Christmas and have found it to be highly addictive. Basically it's an electronic game where you have to unscramble famous phrases and put them in the right order.

The toy has 5 balls each being given a word or few words which when put together make up a popular phrase. The ball lights up as the words are said in the wrong order your job is to move the balls around so the phrase is unscrambled and said in the correct order.

The phrases are a mixture of lyrics, lines from films and famous phrases etc.

The skill level can be varied so that younger players can play. In multi player mode you can set a different level for each player. There are also different game settings:

Time mode - A set time to unscramble the phrase, decreasing time with each round
Extreme time mode - 10 seconds in each round to unscramble the phrase
Guess mode - A set number of times you are allowed to guess which decreases each round
Extreme guess mode - Only 1 chance to unscramble the phrase

I tend to find the extreme guess mode the hardest as only being allowed one guess is very challenging when you're not completely sure how the phrase is ordered.

I would say this toy has educational value especially to practise sequencing skills and memory training. Though the classes I teach are probably a bit young for it which is a shame as I would love to use it in the classroom.

Downsides to the game are: firstly it is loud and by loud I mean really loud. A volume button would have been a real plus. Occasionally the accent of the speaker makes the phrase hard to understand - but this is quite rare.

Another downside is there seems to be no way to bypass the instructions - so each time you play you have an electronic voice telling you what to do. It would be good if you could press the start button to bypass this once you know how to play.

      Overall a fab game!
