Advantages: Lasts a long time.

Disadvantages: Not suitable for very young children/

The object of risk is to tactically manoeuver your pieces around a board by destorying your opposition (the other players) until you have completed your objective (which you recieve at the start and only reveal to the other players once you have completed it).

The game takes alot of time to complete and although there are literally hundreds of pieces involved the rules are not that complex, having said this there are still many ways to play the game and many different tactics such as forming alliances with other players or just trying to do it without help and 'Conquer The World'.

I would recommed this game to a family looking for something to play, I would recommend it to adults and mixed groups of adults and children although I woudn't recommend it to a group made up totally of children due to the fact that the game can get complex if there is no easy way for one person to win.

I would say that all players must be at least eight to understand that people may go behind their backs and not keep promises.
