Words associated with exercise: YUCK!!
College majors: Yachts man (What? suits some people)

A boy's name: Yolonde
Country: Yemen
Ice cream flavour: Yellow (vanilla really)

Was that hard?: YES YES YES!!
Ok so I cheated a little, but you get my drift, unfortunately the last letter of my name appears to be the hardest one in the alphabet but I got there in the end.
Scattergories is a game of catergories. It has been my favorite for years now and I have played it so many times. Christmas is the best when everyone is a little tipy. YOu can imagine what comes up.
Each game play a different list comes up, and of course a dfferent letter. A roll of the 26 sided dice determines the letter you will use each game, and don't forget you are playing against the clock. Its harder than you think, depending on the letter of course. Had I used the first letter of my name (l) this would have been easy. Lemon, LOL, Louisiana... You can see where I am going with this.
This game is made by Hasbro and has been around for many years. They have now brougt out various different versions but I doubt any of them beat the original.
This game can be brough from any good toy shop and department stores, even Tesco and retails at arounf £25.00 Well worth it if you ask me. If is an after christmas dinner must have. You cna paly as individulas or as teams which is always more fun as you try your hardest not to let the other team hear what your saying, but theres always a cheater.
The games comes set up with all the catergory lists (18) a 26 sided dice and a list pad for you to write your answers, and a timer of course!
I am yet to meet someone who hasn't had hours of fun playing this fantastic game and I suggest you give it a try if you haven't already!!
Summary: You must buy it!

- 23/11/08 My kids play something similar to this but without any game that comes in a box. They just put a bunch of categories on a page and then one kid starts saying the alphabet in their head and when another kid says "stop" they have to say the letter they got to and start the game with everyone using the same letter. |
