Scrabble was developed in 1948 and it is still one of the most popular board games.

On 15 x 15 game board player have to build word with their letters, of course fantasy words do not count you must be able to check one of the spelled words in a dictionary.

For each created word the player gets points according to the numbers on the letters.If a player lands on a special marked field during the spelling process he also gets bonus points.

Game board:
------------------
The game board consist of 15 x 15 fields , that's a total amount of 225 fields.
Besides the the usual fields there are also 4 kind of bonus fields.

1.) Bonus fields which double or triple the amount of the points of
your created words.

2.) Bonus fields which triple or quadruple the amount of the
points of your created words.


Letter tiles:

There are 102 letter tiles with different letters and points on it.

The higher the points on one letter tile , the more difficult it is to use this letter in a word.

There are also 2 tiles , which can be used as a joker.
These tiles can be used as any letter but you do not get points for the joker.


Game Play:
----------
1.) all the tiles are placed up side down on the cloth bag
2.) each player takes 7 tiles

3.) than a player can choose to:
3.1.) to skip his turn and to build a word later
3.2.) to build a word and draw 7 new tiles

4.) the game ends if all player skipped their turns two times

5.) player can choose to count their points , letters which were
not used are minus points

6.) the payer with the most points won


Personal Opinion:

Scrabble has been always one of my favorite game and it is always great fun at parties. Sometimes it is really hard to build up words and some times as easy as counting to 3. Great game and I still love it.
