Advantages: good vocabulary board game, bonding game

Scrabble is a good family bonding game and at the same time a very good mind game. The main goal of the game is to be able to get the highest score after all the tiles or letters have been used. Every tiles have a corresponding points and those points can be doubled or tripled, it depends on the square where they are placed on the board. Plus the words that you put can also be doubled or tripled, again it depends on the square where they placed on the board. It doesn't mean that the longer the words are the highest the points are, it depends on the points of the letters you used and where you put them on the board. The more challenging thing is, those letters that is barely used in words have the highest points, like the Q, Z, and X. This game can be played 2-4 players, alternately they will put the words using the tiles and after that they have to get another tiles in the pouch without looking or choosing a tiles, it depends how many letters did you use. Add all the points of the letters plus the bonus points on the board and that will the your score, just make sure that it has to be intertwined with the other words on the board.

Our Experience

My family have been playing this board game for a long time now, we don't have any board game here in our house but this one. My father bought this for us because he likes the concept which is to have a very broad vocabulary words. But we didn't thought about it, we play this because its a very nice bonding board game.

This game can also used as a competitive one, when my sister was in high school she joined a school competition in scrabble. She is a very good player, she knows how and when to used the letters or tiles to get the highest scores. It was a good game, she got to bring home the trophy.

Well me, I tried to join but I got easily eliminated..LOL that's why I got contented with just playing it with my family. This game is a very good board game, you will simply enjoy it.
