Advantages: Easy to learn, fun to play.
Disadvantages: Can get boring if you play for too long at a stretch.
This used to be one of my favorite games when I was a kid. The game does not go on for too long to get bored with it, and the rules are very simple.
***How the board looks***
The board has hundred boxes with the numbers from 1 to 100 on it. There also are snakes and ladders all over the place on the board.
***How to play***
The player rolls the dice and according to the number displayed on the dice the member can move forward to the next box. For example is the first player rolls the number 3 on the dice he goes 3 steps ahead and lands on the square that says 3. And if he is already square number 3 and rolls 4 on the dice then he goes to square 4.
And on his way up if any player gets bitten by a snake (lands on a square that has the head of a snake on it) the player has to come down the snake up to the square where the snake ends. Getting a ladder (stopping at a square which has the foot of a ladder) is always exciting for the player as he can go up a few levels depending on the height of the ladder.
The first player to reach the 100th square (top-right) is the winner.
This is a game that is enjoyed by younger children and can keep them occupied for a long time. It's also a good family game to play with the kids.
Summary: Great game for kids.
