it should have been called frustration not solitair (Solitaire)

Advantages: a game that will keep you trying forever

Disadvantages: i cant do it and it irritates me

solitair that doesnt involve cards, i hear you saying how is this possible.

The only thing this game has in comon with the card game is that it takes a lot of thinking and patience.

There are a lot of different prices for this game, you can pick them up for a £1 in most £1 stores made of plastic but mine i got from the avon catalogue, it is a metal base with 33 little half circle grooves cut out in the shape of a + sign.

You have 32 little balls or counters depending on the quality of the game you have brought, mine are little grey marbles, with these you put them in the little cut our groves leaving the middle one empty.

All you have to do then is jump one piece over the other into a spare hole then you remove the piece you have jumped over from the board.

At the end of the game you need to be left with just one piece on the board in the middle hole that was empty to start with, thats how you win.

You can play this game on your own or take turns playing with a friend.

I have had mine 14 years now and still havent managed to get any further than 3 balls left and they are no where near the center. If there is anyone reading this that can actually do this game please let me know how as it infuriates me to death.

Summary: a brilliant game but it realy bugs me that i cant do it
