If there are only two of you you can play the non spinner version which involves more skill and cunning. Player 1 names a body part, then player 2 names a colour. When both players have sorted this out player 2 names the body part and player 1 the colour. The skill of this is in manipulating the situation so it is easy for you and hard for your opponent to move. In more comp...more

Crowned Review Twister: Lets twist again. (328 words)

Twister is a fun game that has been around for years, sadly my days of being able to contort myself into the positions often required for this game are now long behind me but it is fun to watch the kids playing it. The game revolves round a plastic mat with many different coloured dots on it and a spinner that has the same colours in random order with body parts near them. The idea is each player takes a turn to spin and if they get right arm on an orange dot for instance then this is what they have to do on the mat. It can end up in children tying themselves up in knots and having great fun whilst adults watch on in hysterics. As adults we used to ...  Read the complete review

When I went off to University my best friend game me a leaving present and told me not to open it until I arrived at the house I was moving into. Upon arrival, I opened this present to find a box containing the game Twister and a card saying ?This will provide you with hours of fun honey, love you lots xxx?. ?Hours of fun? who was she kidding, I put the box under my bed and that is where it remained until one Saturday evening after a whole day in the pub with my fellow housemates. (?,) History of the game (?,) Two American men who go by the names of Charles F. Foley and Neil Rabens invented the game Twister. It has been around since Milton ...  Read the complete review

If you are able-bodied then this game is definately for you. It's fun, physical and such a great laugh! The game consists of a square mat which has red, yellow, green and blue spots on it. There is also a little board which has a small arrow on it. The board determines which player puts which part of their body on which colour spot by spinning the arrow and seeing where it falls. So you could have to put your left hand on a blue spot and your right leg on a green spot. If any of the players fall over then they are out and the winner is the person who is still in position at the end. This game is very physical and you need to have a lot of stretch ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Difficlut positions (249 words)

A really good party game which we used to play was ‘Twister’. It’s so easy to play and so much fun. I am sure everyone must have played it one time or another. All you need is a plastic sheet, which contains four rows of different coloured dots. They are different colours: yellow, red, green, blue. You have a board, which has a spinner, and it says, right arm, left arm, left leg and right arm with the colours on it. It’s a real good game and you’ll be surprised how many different positions you can find yourselves in. The winner is the person still standing on their feet. You start by standing on two spots and the next step ...  Read the complete review

A game that has been around for years and still going good. Who ever had the idea must have made a fortune after all it is only a big piece of plastic with different coloured circles on and a board with a spinner and colours hands and feet. Bet it costs a lot to make (NOT). It is the life of a party though don't you agree? Well imagine after all the drink is about to run out and nobody is really 100% Yes you get the Twister out, nobody cares what shape they get in as they already are in one and hopefully won't remember in the morning anyway. We should all know how to play by now, well in breif, you get the players around the mat and there ...  Read the complete review
