Twister

Twister was one of the first board games that used human bodies as playing pieces

Twister is played on a large plastic mat which you spread on the floor. It has four rows of large coloured circles on it with different colours in each row: yellow, red, green and blue. With this you get spinner this a board with a spinner attached the middle the spinner is divided into four sections: left foot, right foot, left hand and right hand. Then each of these four sections is divided into the four colours.

To play the game you spin the spinner and the combination is called out for example left foot blue, and then the player must move they body part on to the right colour circle on the plastic mat. This carries on with each player taking a turn, while another player is having a turn other player must hold there position on the mat. A person is knocked out of the game if they fall over.
Because the mat is quite small the player end up in strange positions.

This game for me has two uses.

A family game
Great for family, an easy came even three and four year olds can get the hang. It teaches them balance, colours, left and right. And I know my children love to see mum and dad making a fool of them self's and falling on the floor. I do remember playing this game as a kids in the garden and my mum but soapy water on it so was really slippery and so much more fun

Adult game
This game is great after a few drink, when your balance is not at its best. With 2 to four adults on the mat things get very close and things do get very funny and some people may even think a little sexual (never found this my self always laughing to much)

This game is a great buy for about £12
