Advantages: Physical and such fun

Disadvantages: only for the able bodied

If you are able-bodied then this game is definately for you. It's fun, physical and such a great laugh!

The game consists of a square mat which has red, yellow, green and blue spots on it. There is also a little board which has a small arrow on it. The board determines which player puts which part of their body on which colour spot by spinning the arrow and seeing where it falls. So you could have to put your left hand on a blue spot and your right leg on a green spot. If any of the players fall over then they are out and the winner is the person who is still in position at the end.

This game is very physical and you need to have a lot of stretch and if you do yoga then you are definately in with a chance of winning. This game is no good for the older generation unless you have a nan or grandad like the 'break dancing grandad' on 'Britains Got Talent' this year.

The great thing about this game is that it's much better when you have quite a few players because you tend to get tangled up in each other. What tends to happen is that one player falls or slips and takes the rest of the group with them and there isn't any winners unless you are ultra strong or a determined person who survives the fall!

I am quite competitive and do anything I can to win but if I get a fit of the giggles then thats it for me. I tend to lose all of my strength in every limb and look like a fool when I fold into myself on the floor.

Twister is one of those games that is absolutely brilliant to play but outstanding to observe. You will find that the most reserved person will do everything they can to win; they don't seem to care that their ass is sticking heaven-ward, their boobs are on the floor and their smelly pit is rubbing in someones face; they just want to win and that's all that matters!

I love this game and it's even funnier when you've had a few to drink as your balance tends to be a bit 'off'.

To spice this game up a bit you can try rubbing baby oil into the mat. It makes it super slippery and it's dead hard to keep your position; one little touch from another player may make your hand slip and you end up in a heap underneath or on top of everyone!

Over all this a great game for the kids but it's even better for adults. It retails at £9.99 but I am certain that you could make it yourself. Next time you have a BBQ, get this game out and it'll liven up even the miserable person!

Summary: An excellent and fun game that get's you moving!

I always used to win this as a student - a mixture of 12 years of gymnastics, and not drinking...
