MB Games Twister
I'm sure every man and his dog must know all about this game by now. We've had this game in our household for years, as I'm sure many of you have too. However I decided to put my personal views forward on how I feel about this particular game.
Twister is a game of simplicity in itself it is made up of just 2 items, a plastic sheet and a spinner. The plastic sheet is quite a fair size as this is the gaming mat on which any number between 1 and 4 players will be displaying themselves. The plastic sheet has four rows of coloured circles printed onto it, red, green, yellow and blue. These coloured circles coincide with the spinner which is made up of a piece of coloured hardboard and a plastic spinner, the four colours on the spinner board match those of the plastic sheet only the spinner board also shows either a left or right hand and foot along with the colour, this is for the person on the spinner to take note in order to tell the person who's go it is what part of their body has to move and to which colour.
Great for all age groups
The game can be great fun to play with any age group, either indoors or out. I remember we used to play this game all the time, its fun when you've had a drink or two and some positions we got ourselves into have been hilarious at times. We found ourselves getting terribly twisted up and almost every time collapsing on the floor crying with laughing so much. Children also enjoy this game, as it is so easy to play, not only that but it's keeping the body bendy and flexible whilst you play and at the same time helping children to recognise left from right. We haven't played the game in a while if I'm honest, but it does still remain in good condition. Occasionally the nephews and nieces will drag it out to play when they visit and on a nice day we can all sit outside while we play.
Durability and cost
This game has lasted forever so as regards durability I'd say it's excellent. I don't remember how much it cost back in the day but nowadays you can pick this game up for around £10 to £15. I know Amazon sell it at the moment and lots of high street toy shops.
Over all a great game for all ages, I can't see anything to pick fault about for this perfectly simple game.
Thank you for reading my review which may also appear on other sites.
