Introduction

A couple of years ago I decided that I was fed up of watching my two kids playing on consoles so I brought them a couple of board games for Christmas, one of the games I brought was Twister by MB games. I can't remember how much I paid at the time but I think it was part of a two board games for £20 offer being run by Argos at the time. It can currently be brought for £14.99 from Argos.

So what is in the box?

In the box there is a large plastic game mat that consists of 4 rows of 6 spots the spots are in coloured lines of Red, Blue, Yellow and Green. There is a board with a spinner on that can be spun to point at the places where you need to put your hands or feet. The spinner will need attaching to the board using the plastic lug provided, don't be a silly like us and lose it and have to improvise with a nail.

The box itself is quite sturdy and the game mat and spinner board can easily be stored back in the box after use.

How do I play it?

This is a really simple game, lay the plastic mat out on the carpet, gather a bunch of unwilling victims, I mean players, elect one to call out the instructions that the other players have to follow. So when the appointed spinner calls out 'right hand red' everyone has to place there hand on a red spot, then when another instruction such as 'left foot green' is called out players have to follow sit and place the foot where told. The game continues like this with everyone getting steadily more and more tangled till a players knee or elbow touches the mat and then they are out. The winner is the last one standing, or flexed in a funny position that no-one else can beat.

Do I recommend?

Definitely, it was great to get the kids up off the sofa and moving about during the lazy Christmas holidays. The game is suitable for everyone as long as they are flexible, know their right from there left, the colours Red, Yellow, Green and Blue and don't mind getting up close and personal with each other as the instructions can leave you with your face in some ones butt or bent rather strangely under someone else.

Conclusion.

This is great family fun game; it is suitable for everyone and can even get the youngsters to learn their colours and their left from their right. For those of you who choose to play after having a drink you will be happy to know that the mat is water proof and fully wipe-able but I do advise caution as it can get quite slippy with socks on.

Totally recommended, I will be dragging this from under the bed over Christmas for some fun family times. I give it 4 out of 5 stars as I think it is expensive for what you get in the box.

Thank you for reading xx

Summary: A great family game that I remember playing as a child and now make my children play too.
