Yahtzee was "invented" by a Canadian couple in 1956 who used to play a game with dice on their yacht. It was from that invention that it became Yahtzee. Equipment: The game of Yahtzee consists of just a few pieces. Each game comes with a plastic cup; five dice; score sheets; and pencil. There is no game board. ... Read the complete review

This game is great! My mum first showed me the game when she was sorting out her bedroom and we decided to play it that day. I picked up the game after only 1 time of playing it, thats how simple it is. I found it great and still do now but I can never work out why its called Yahtzee. *What you get in the ... I used to love playing this years ago, it is a very addictive game. In the box you get, 5 dice, a tub to shake said dice and pads to keep score. The inside of the box has a plastic moulded tray which has recesses to hold the dice etc and it also doubles up as the playing field, well a decent sized tub like square in which to throw the ... Yahtzee is a great little game that is ideal for travel, consisting of only five dice and a pad of scoresheets. Each turn you roll the five dice and can decide to keep the numbers or reroll up to four dice. You can then keep or reroll once more. With the five numbers you end up with you choose where on the scoresheet to enter them. You are trying ... Read the complete review

MB is number one when it comes to board games and they also make my personal favourite which is yahtzee. Yahtzee is a game of chance, skill and sheer luck and is fun for a single player or for a family, due to the counting involved I guess it could also be described as educational. The game consists of a pad of sheets of paper which are ... Read the complete review

Yahtzee, well the game play is as unique as its name and therefore it makes for exciting gameplay which is never the same twice over. *~*~* What type of a game is Yahtzee? *~*~* Good question. Is it an educational game? Yes. Strategy game? Yes. Chance game. Yes. Game to play on your own? Yes. Game to play with friends and family? This game has to be one of my favourite games of all time. I can remember playing it from a very young age with my brothers and sisters and mother and father. They were all addicted to it and they would play the game most nights for a couple of weeks. It would then be put back in the cupboard for a month or two and then it would come ... Yahtzee is a game played with five dice. Whether these dice are actual dice, or virtual, it doesn't matter, the game is still the same. As well as the old style yahtzee, you can play on an electronic hand hand unit (available from MB Games), on your PC (Yahtzee Master is free to download), and allows internet multi-play), or on a console such as a ... Yahtzee, so simple, yet so addictive, it is a very simple game, but once you start playing, you can’t stop, it can be played via your computer, with the game itself or you can just get five dice and make your own scorecard up, I must admit, I prefer to play on the computer, rather than the game itself, as it saves you having to do the ... I think Yahtzee must be one of the best games invented. It is simple to learn but tricky to play. Every roll is a decision to make, strategy to develop. Its a ganme which can be played by young and old on an even footing and as such is great for keeping the youngsters amused. There is no bigger thrill for a child than to beat an adult at a game. ... On the surface, this is a very simple game in which you roll some dice and try to gt all the same number, combinations fo numbers or runs, to make up a score on your sheet. There is a lot of skill in it though, as you have to work out the odds and trae off high scoring wild chancs against low scoring easy throws. I play this as a two ... Read the complete review

If you have ever played Yahtzee you will remember it. Its quite good fun for such a simple game. The trick and magic behind it is that anyone could win this game with a bit of lady luck from the dice and a bit of judgement on the scoresheet.
