Sensodyne Toothpaste ... started to realise that my teeth were getting sensitive when I experienced the menopause (as if we women don t have enough problems at this time!) The dentist said this could be due to hormonal changes and that also the teeth often tend to start receding from 40 years onwards - great! He recommended using Sensodyne toothpaste which I have used ever since. I have not suffered from pain since so I guess it must work. I paid £1.15 for a small tube in Superdrug yesterday - 45m. Sensodyne Proenamel ... used to use the normal sensodyne tooth paste, not so much out of preference but more because I needed it. It was the only tooth paste that reduced the sensitivity of my teeth, I found that whatever else I tried, if it were colgate for sensitive teeth, macleans for sensitive teeth, aqua fresh... nothing else worked. So when sensodyne brought this pro-namel out I had mixed feelings. At first I was really glad there would be some variation, I get bored with only being able to use 4 only slightly different tooth pastes, and desperatly wanted a change-and it was in a cute package too!.
