      Glamorous body lotion

I was given my Agent Provocateur Sauce Body Glamour lotion as a gift from a friend. I was a bit surprised by her choice as this isn't a brand either of us would normally buy.

      The Packaging
This is quite an unusual pump action container, pink and shaped like a teardrop or a pear which is very feminine. One to have out on display in the boudoir in my opinion - but not in direct sunlight as it will ruin the scent.

      The Product
This is a pale pink lotion that leaves a gorgeous shimmer on your skin.
It is easy to dispense and is quite runny. I sometimes find that perfumed body lotions are not that good and what you pay for is the fragrance in an inferior lotion. However I like this one as it does leave my skin feeling nicely moisturised. It also leaves a pink shimmery pearl like sheen effect on skin which looks really nice and is a pretty effect. I have pale skin and this adds colour and luminosity and my skin looks much better after application.

Of course one of the main reasons for buying this is the fragrance and although I probably would not have chosen this myself, I like the scent. The first thing that hits you is rose, but it doesn't list that as an ingredient, so it must be the combination of gardenia jasmine and magnolia or the saffron. I am no expert but it is a definite floral which is sweet but also has a slight woody musky note which must be the amber and musk. It smells sweet and sugary, sort of like a parma violet smell, only a rose version.

On first application it seems really strong, but calms down and develops into a very feminine sweet floral scent, which I like.

I tend to wear this on an evening and apply to my arms and décolletage. I don't layer this with the perfume as the EDT seems much stronger and heavier to me and I think together they would be overpowering. In fact the EDT reminded me of a floral air freshener on me when I tested it, but like most scents they smell different on everyone.
So I haven't invested in the EDT as I didn't like that as it was too strong, but to be honest I don't think you need it as the fragrance and the shimmery effect in this lotion lasts for a few hours.

      Would I Recommend
If you want a really nice body lotion that makes your skin look better then this certainly does that. I am torn on the scent, I don't love it but I like that it is different from the usual fragrances I wear.
This is a very luxurious and feminine and I love the fact that the cream leaves colour and a lovely sheen on my very pale skin. One for the evening in my opinion as I would find it too heavy for the day, but that is my personal preference. Definitely one to apply if you are planning wearing a little black dress.
I think this is an old fashioned scent that feels like it could have been developed in the 1940's or 1950's but it is a modern day fragrance, one that suits the brand.
This lotion promises sauce and glamour, I am not sure about the sauce but it is definitely glamorous.
I think the thing I like most about is the shimmery effect it leaves on skin, the fragrance is nice, but it is different to the ones I normally wear and I probably won't ask for or buy another bottle when this runs out.

It definitely is not a favourite of my husbands as the last time I wore this he asked me if I had been spraying air freshener, so it isn't a hit with him.
