      Very helpful

      Ethical indulgence.

Don't think this is a review purely about just an ordinary body scrub. This is not a product churned out by yet another company, for the purpose of lining their pockets, and purchasing their mansions. Oh no, this product comes from a company with morals and ideals. They are called, 'all for eve' and they are not in the business of self-profiteering. This company was established to turn a tragedy into good by giving all the net profits to gynaecological research. That's one hundred percent of the net profit, not a token amount to encourage extra sales, but a meaningful and admirable gift to research.

In 2008 George Hammer's sister-in-law died from ovarian cancer. One year later Hammer launched these charitable product lines under the name, 'all for eve'.

Go to the product website and you'll find the shocking statistics about gynaecological disease and that as many as 7,500 women die each year from them in the UK alone. This brand is not here to run as a business for personal wealth gain. Their aim is to halve the number of deaths caused by genealogical cancer. The research is conducted in the prestigious University College London. The findings, to date, lead the company to believe that halving the number of deaths is not an unrealistic goal in the foreseeable future. Buy this body scrub or any of the other items in their range, for the 'eve appeal' and you are helping to save lives. You could be contributing to the saving of the life of your mother, wife, sister, your own life and the lives of women who have yet to be born.

This ethical and rare branding concept alone should inspire us all to make a difference. George Hammer does have other successful businesses on the go, such as Sanctuary and Aveda beauty companies so not many people, I suppose, are in a position where they could set up this type of brand. Of course the products ought to be of a good quality because we all want value for our hard earned money and expect luxury from the man who sells beauty products to the stars. I would expect this line to be up to his normal standards. 'all for eve' sell make-up, skin care products and pampering gifts and, of course, this body scrub.

This rare charitable brand 'all for eve' body scrub comes in a simply designed container. The cream has been created by the respected company URBAN RETREAT. It is paraben free which mean the preservatives that might be harmful to us have not been included. It looks like a designer product and smart in white with 'eve' printed in pink. This, for me, also has links with the pink ribbon of breast cancer campaigns. However, I am not sure why the name 'eve' was picked as the lady that died was called Nadia. My guess is eve is one syllable and easy to recall. The lack of capitalisation makes all women 'eve' rather than the singular person and eve makes me think of Adam and Eve in the Bible. Eve gives in to temptation so we are to give in to the temptation of a luxury branded cream for our own indulgence, only this time we don't get punished because we are doing something wonderful. It's not just a case of self-indulgence when I rub this cream into my skin because I know that having purchased this pot I have given something small but of importance to the world.

The cream is soft and creamy. It does not leave an oily residue. It penetrates into my skin and feels wonderfully luxurious. I opened this pot about three weeks ago. I don't need much of the cream at all. I put a little on a couple of fingers, at a time, and find this massages in well and covers the area of one lower leg. The scrub has jojoba beads in which rub against the skin to successfully remove dry skin. I have used this cream all over on several occasions. There is still plenty in the pot. I can see this lasting for weeks and weeks to come. My skin feels soft after rubbing on my body. I usually use this in the shower and I can feel the resulting silkiness for hours after. I believe it is suitable for all skin types and I have had no negative reactions on my sometimes sensitive skin.

The scent is pleasing though hard to describe. It's sweet but also has a slight cucumber-like scent is not overpowering and lasts. It makes me feel invigorated for the day ahead and I feel like I am polished clean both physically and spiritually!

My friend put in an order for me on the 'all for eve' website and I paid seven pounds and fifty pence for a 200ml pot.

By 2010 'all for eve' won four awards and from the day I first tried this body scrub I knew they are well deserved. Indulge your body with a quality scrub and feel extra good for helping in a fantastic cause.

Love the cream, help save lives and love yourself - perfect!
