I love the smell of Garnier Ambre Solaire it always reminds me of holidays, beaches and lovely sunny days. Garnier Ambre Solaire suncream protects the skin against UVA and UVB rays. UVA rays penetrate deeply into the skin and can cause long term skin damage such as skin cancer and premature ageing. UVB rays are responsible for sunburn. So by using it you are protecting your skin against all the nasty things the sun can do to it. I love the sun and like to tan a little bit. But there's no getting away from the fact that a tan is your skin's way of protecting itself from the sun and it's a form of damage, however healthy it makes you look. ... Read the complete review

With the weather starting to improve, I felt it high time to share my knowledge of skin protection products with the world. You see, I have a very low opinion on tans, tanning products and people who flaunt themselves to the point of their skin bubbling from their bones due to one devastating and frankly life changing experience. Im not going to get morbid here or stray too far from the beaten track but my father died from Malignant Melanoma when I was 14. Skin cancer for those of you that have not heard the term. Last year I used a lot of Ambre Solaire sun protection products. I bought a little bottle of spray and a regular sized bottle. Both of these were SPF25. The perfume is really nice. Almost like honeysuckle (yum), and it blends into the skin easily, but there is a major drawback with these products. They leave white, indelible marks on your clothing! With white clothes it leaves a yellow stain, and with plastics or other coloured materials, it almost looks like a hazy bleach mark. I have had a few items of clothing ruined by this cream, and once I figured out that it must have been the culprit I stopped using it and bought another brand (Nivea, which is fine). ...
