Advantages: natural looking, easy to apply, nice smelling,

Disadvantages: very light colour needs a few applications to build colour

I've used lots of different kind of fake tans before and was going to try fake bake or st tropez this time but with times being hard finance wise I decided on Ambre Solaire £8 for the body one and £6 for the face. I am very pale and so went for the 'light' version.
Before starting I exfoliated and moisturised well, then applied the tan.

I applied as stated on the can, spraying from a distance of 30 cm in regular motions and didn't rub in. It's very easy to apply, it sprays at every angle and took less than 5 minutes to apply.
The scent of the tan is quite pleasant at first and not as chemical smelling as some of the others. Although this does give way to the usual fake tan smell as the night goes on!!

I really didn't feel the need to rub it in as it dried as soon as it touched my skin!
It does say on the can that it takes 3 hours to develop but after 5 hours I couldn't really tell a difference so applied a second coat!

In the morning I awoke to find it really does do what it says on the tin! A lovely natural looking light tan! There were a few little patches on my face where the skin must have been quite dry and had created orangey patches however a shower and exfoliating these bits got rid of it straight away and I now have a nice healthy glow!
The light version is very light, however if you're pale skinned like me I'd definately recommend the light one as you can build up a couple of layers to get your desired colour (much better than going for the darker colour and ending up orange!!) It just means that if you have a big night out you're using it for, start using it a couple of days early so you have plenty of time to build up the layers.

This is definately the easiest, quickest tan to apply that I've tried and the most natural as there really are no streaks!

If I fancy a darker colour though I think next time I might try fake bake as a friend just used this and it looks great!
