Advantages: nice colour (eventually), easy to apply

Disadvantages: reptilian skin?, vitiligo appearance!

I'm not blessed with particularly olive skin, in fact you could call me a bit pasty! and so I was delighted to see the advert for the above promising a wonderful tan and no streaks!

The first time I used it I was amazed (and so cue much dancing semi-naked around the bedroom in joy!) I had turned from a quite frankly translucent white to a bronzed beach goddess! and all in about 2-3 hours! with new found confidence I put a second layer on and got out my legs for their first public outing this year!

Still glowing, and feeling skinnier (isn't it amazing how a tan does that to you??) a couple of days later, I was looking forward to a works night out and so decided to put on yet another layer - This is where I might have overdone it - Ok so I was a bit 'Dale Winton' but not terribly so, and I still was pleased in general, but thought I would wait for it to fade a bit before I used it again.

Now imagine for me if you will a reptile, maybe a lizard or perhaps best a snake. Picture in your mind the scales, changing in colour running down its spine. Now super-impose that thought over your legs! Perhaps I am a freak (no doubt about it according to my other half) but to me that is how my legs looked roughly a week after my last application.

My arms could best be described as looking something freckly in a 'ginger' kind of way (no offence to flame haired people I promise but my complexion just didn't suit it), and at worst I looked as though I had some sort or contagious skin disease where patches of skin had faded to my regular shade and other bits hadn't. How my boyfriend did laugh!

It doesn't end there, but luckily the rest is positive. Basically I have decided that my mistake was to use too much at once, and on a much contemplated second go, using just one to two coats all over, it has developed and faded much much better.

To date I have now used it about 5 times at approx one week i
ntervals. I always exfoliate and moisturise first, and also moisturise every morning. The good points really are good. The colour (based on 2 coats) is natural looking, its very easy to apply and it does what it says on the tin - it doesn't streak!

I've had freckly bits from using this but I think its just dead skin left over when other parts hae renewed. A good exfoliation normally rectifies things!

I do like a good tan on a gal! Maybe this will make it more easier.
