Advantages: Cost effective
Disadvantages: N
I have an O2 Detox Home Use Foot Spa. I have used the Aqua Detox and Bio Detox machine and I have found the O2 Detox to be far superior.
The machine works by placing your feet into a bowl of warm water with a little bit of salt, you then place a device called an 'array' into the centre of the footbowl and plug this into the main console. I then switch the machine on and usually watch TV or read a magazine for half an hour.
It is a very relaxing experience and you don't really feel anything, apart from a slight tingling sensation every now and then in my legs and feet.
After half an hour has elapsed, the machine beeps to tell me it has finished and I switch it off. I then give my feet a good clean, as the sludge that is produced during the treatment is all around my ankles!
I was visiting a salon in my home town that had an Aqua Detox and a Bio Detox machine, but I found I was paying a fortune for treatments, so I thought I'd buy one to use at home. I found that the machines were over £1000! Also the 'arrays' that needed to be replaced every 20 uses were more than £50 to buy. I found a company called O2 Detox on the internet who sell machines for home use. My machine cost £485 and the arrays are £38 and last 40 uses. I thought the O2 Detox machine looked much nicer than the other machines too, instead of just looking like a foot spa with a load of buttons on the top!
I have noticed that my energy levels are much better and I sleep really well at night, instead of waking up many times.
More information regarding Aqua Detox which was in the Mirror on 7th April 2005, the reason why I wouldn't buy from Robert Neil Bevan of Aqua Detox International
Aqua Detox International of Surbiton, Surrey, couldn't prove any of its claims when challenged by the Advertising Standards Authority.
This outfit is run by Robert Bevan, 63, a man who could do with a miracle cure for his business record.
He was on the board of Aqua Detox Ltd, currently in administration with debts of £813,000.
Rejuva Slim (Oxshott) Ltd was liquidated owing £112,000, and AATC International went under owing £87,000.
Bevan International was £310,000 in the red when it was liquidated, and Campay owed £11,000.
Dodgy company or what????
Summary: The O2 detox spa has many safety features and is much cheaper than the others on the market

- 12/08/05 Hi,
I have an O2 detox machine too, and I have really been benefitting from the regular sessions over the past couple of weeks.
I have been signed up as a distributor now, so if I get anyone to buy a machine, O2 Detox pays me £100. If anyone is interested in buying one, I will split the commission 50/50 with you. So you will get £50 off your machine, just mention Claudia Bishop when you order. Their website is http://www.o2detox.com |

- 08/08/05 The instruction book says that the only people who cant use it are pregnant ladies, anyone with a pacemaker or anyone with an organ transplant, or anyone who suffers with epilepsy, eveyone else is OK to use, even children.
I heard from my sister that O2 Detox are now offering their machines on finance and it costs about £20 a month, so I think she is going to buy hers that way to make it more affordable. |
