- Price - I bought this from the local Home Bargains store back in June, for just 99p which is quite a bit cheaper than other whitening toothpastes available. Not being loyaI to a particular brand of toothpaste, I usually always grab those that are on offer. - Packaging - As with most tube toothpastes this comes in a cuboid box, within which is a squeezable tube with a screw top lid. I prefer flip top lids as there is less chance of the toothpaste near the top, drying out if someone doesn't put the lid down properly! The tube is predominantly silver with Aquafresh and the well-known triple stripe on the front of ... Read the complete review

When buying toothpaste, I usually like to opt for something which promises a whitening effect on my teeth - and whilst in reality, any whitening is likely to be incredibly minimal, the claim always gives me a psychological boost which makes me feels like my teeth are somehow being rejuvenated. My latest toothpaste purchase was the 'Aquafresh Extreme Clean', which currently costs £2 for the 100ml tube from Tesco. As toothpaste prices go, £2 is only slightly above the average, which seems to be around the £1.80 mark. The tube itself is silvery white in colour and features a screw top cap rather than the traditional 'flip-open' style. Personally, I ... Read the complete review

I don't usually stick to one kind of toothpaste, tending to opt for the ones on special offer at the time. A few weeks ago, whilst doing my shopping online at Tesco, I noticed Aquafresh Extreme Clean Whitening 100ml reduced from £2.43 to £1.50. We'd never tried this one before so at that price I thought I'd give it a go. The toothpaste comes in a tube with a screw top. I personally prefer the flip top lid because no-one in my family seems to know how to put the screw top back on the tube! In the traditional style of Aquafresh toothpaste this has the trademark 3 stripes in red for healthy gums, white for stronger teeth and blue for a fresh breath, although ... Read the complete review

I do not normally like aquafresh. I think of it as a cheap toothpaste. I prefer colgate. Generally aquafresh does not give my teeth that squeeky clean feel. However, I have seen so many adverts for aquafresh extreme clean, I just couldn't resist. It has whitening in it so I thought it would give a thorough clean. It was definitely a massive improvement on the normal aquafresh toothpaste, which other than looking pretty and tasting a bit minty, does not really deliver in terms of dental cleaning. My teeth did feel clean afterwards. Not EXTREMELY clean. Just clean! I expected it to foam up but it didn't really. I suppose maybe it frothed ... Read the complete review
