When I think of Aquafresh the annoying and thankfully, not regularly shown advert of the 'perfect' family in stripey pyjamas brushing their teeth springs to mind. It has to be said that this did not SELL the product to me. It was in fact the reasonable price of the item and it's effectiveness. - Price - As of April 2007. I bought my tube at Boots last week for 99p but I've checked in Asda and it's only 90p there. - Compared with other brands per 100ml - * Colgate Oxygen - 1.94 * Crest - 1.32 * Macleans Freshmint - 96p * Signal - 98p - Packaging - As with most tube toothpastes this comes in a ... If you want 3 in 1 protection for all the family, anyone who's ever watched adverts over the last three decades will tell you, you need Aquafresh! Toothpaste is one of life's essentials. While I'm generally very cynical about branding, there are two things in life worth spending a bit extra on. Toothpaste and loo roll. After those two, you might as well get the supermarket own brand. As all those adverts say, plaque builds up on your teeth when you eat, which can lead to tooth decay unless you brush regularly with a good toothpaste. Remembering my GCSE science lessons as well, acid builds up in the mouth when you eat, and several hours thereafter, ... Read the complete review

I think that oral hygiene is very important, afterall one of the first things people notice about other is their smile so I think it's important to look after your gnashers. I have tried a variety of toothpastes, not loyal to any brand in paticular and this is just another one that I have ended up trying. I bought a small 75ml tube of this for 90p from ASDA which is fairly cheap. I was attracted to the toothpaste itself, I know it sounds odd, I just found the three stripe toothpaste intriguing and had to try it out. Its packaging is eye-catching with bold colouring and a large title on the box. The company name, 'Aquafresh' is in big ... Read the complete review

What can I say! I have been a consumer of Aquafresh Fresh and Minty for as long as I have had teeth to brush! Its colourful stripes make it ideal for the first 'proper' toothpaste kid's use as its fun colours and not-so-intrusive taste aren't to offensive to young mouths or adult taste buds. The price of this product, despite its commercial (and terribly annoying) adverts, is very reasonable. I have never found it to be more than a pound in any of the major supermarkets and it is often on special offer. Its packaging is attractive and eye-catching with 'fresh' colours that make you feel cleaner just by looking at them! It, of course, ... Read the complete review

I don't know much about the different types of toothpaste, but I do know our regular toothpaste works for me as I've never had a filling yet and I'm nearly seventeen... We use Aquafresh made by GlaxoSmithKline with its triple protection layer which pledges to keep enamel strong, keep my gums healthy and give me fresh breath. I am very proud of my teeth so I regularly brush them with my Oral B electric toothbrush and a good pea-sized dollop of this toothpaste on the round rotating head :) There is an 'enamel lock' patented formula and also Aquafresh says it keeps enamel strong by locking out harmful plaque acid and by locking in vital ...
