I can honestly say that all these claims are 100% true. I was a bit sceptical at first to try it as I had tried other whitening toothpastes before (usually from popular brands such as Colgate) which have made no difference to my teeth at all. This particular toothpaste was on offer in my local Tesco's making it cheaper then most others so I decided to give it a try. We...more

I have a very weird thing with my teeth where I hate it if they don't have that freshly brushed feeling and as soon as it's gone I feel as if I have to go straight to the bathroom to brush them again. I have never found a toothpaste that has given me that feeling for very long until I came across 'Arm & Hammer Advanced Whitening Toothpaste'. It claims to have baking soda to gently clean away both surface and deep stains, to give you a fresh from the dentist feeling of clean, to neutralise odour-causing compounds for lasting fresh breath and to have micro polishers which are clinically proven to leave your teeth 3 shades whiter. I can honestly say that ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review This toothpaste makes claims that can't be proven . (550 words)

I'm a smoker, and also a tea drinker . Well, drinker is too mild, addict is perhaps more accurate, with me sometimes drinking up to 15 cups a day . All this has taken it's toll on my teeth - I wouldn't say they are brown or yellow exactly, but they do have a few minor discolourations. So, I set about finding a toothpaste to remove these ugly little bits- and ended up with Arm and Hammer, which was on offer at £1.99 in my local Sainsburys , whereas it would normally cost £3. Now the packaging is just as shown above, except the name has changed from 'Advanced White' to 'Advanced Whitening ' . Also, one thing on the packaging you might not be able to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Arm & Hammer Advanced White Toothpaste: Brushing teeth without the torture (309 words)

I might sound like a bit of a weirdo here, but I don't really like toothpaste. Most normal ones are much too minty and it leaves my mouth feeling a bit over run, as the flavour is too intense. Here is where arm and hammer comes in. It's a brand of toothpaste which I've been using for a long time now. There special ingredient is baking soda, and it gives their toothpastes a very different taste. Still a little minty and very refreshing to the mouth, but much less of an onslaught to the senses. I would continue to buy arm and hammer based on taste alone, as I find it so much nicer than your average brand of toothpaste. That's not the only reason I buy ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Good Enough For A Queen B...And Me (1336 words)

In a recent interview I read, Leighton Meester (Blair from Gossip Girl) was asked her favourite cosmetic, and replied "toothpaste". It may seem odd to some, but I can identify. After all, no lipstick or gloss in the world can brighten a smile if your teeth are all cacky, while glistening, healthy teeth can sometimes be all the accessory you need. And so, if it's good enough for Queen B, it's good enough for me. Not of the GG generation? Well, Arm and Hammer toothpastes have also earned the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, which is not to be sniffed at. One of the great things about life in Mexico is that you can often find products from the USA at ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Arm & Hammer Advanced White Toothpaste: Arm and Hammer, DIY for teeth (213 words)
by - written on 18/06/09 (Very useful, 16 readings)

Arm and Hammer seems more like the name of a DIY product. So when my daughter recommended it, I wasn't enthusiastic, I liked Mentadent and Aloe Dent Whitening, which I tended to use in combination. I read the box, and when I found that Arm and Hammer had Baking Soda in it I thought I'd give it a try. At £3.45 for a 100ml it seemed a bit pricey, but toothpaste is pricey and you can't do without it. You get a little Whitening chart in the box, you are meant to see what shade of cream/brown/yellow/black your teeth are to start with, then you check them against the chart again after a couple of weeks and you should see a measurable difference. ...  Read the complete review
