Good for sensitive teeth (Arm & Hammer Enamel Care Sensitive Toothpaste)
Member Name: emmi2009
Advantages: Didn't experience any sensitivity when using it Disadvantages: Price I tried this toothpaste about a year ago as it was on a buy one get one free offer in Superdrug - prior to this i had seen it advertised but always thought it was a little pricey for toothpaste. I suffer with sensitive teeth which get particularly bad if i've eaten sweets or citrus fruits or drunk a bit much white wine! It comes in a typical toothpaste tube and has a minty taste as most toothpastes do. It claims to restore surface enamel which i'm bot sure it did do but i only used the two tubes that i had bought - perhaps with prolonged use you would see improvement but i didn't notice any change in the quality of my surface enamel especially on my two front teeth where it is particularly bad. That said i also didn't notice any further deterioration and my teeth did not experience any real sensitivity while i was using this toothpaste. If i saw it on offer i would probably buy it again but for now i stick with using Sensodyne Pronamel as i find this better for my teeth. Summary: Good product for sensitive teeth but not so sure it restores enamel previously worn away |
