Advantages: available in a stick
Disadvantages: lumpy, hard, ineffective
I seem to be having problems lately purchasing my usual brand of stick deodorant so I thought I would give Arrid XX Ultra Clear Active Fresh a go. It is a stick that once used appears to have lumps in it and is very hard and difficult to apply because of it's hardness. So my job - well I deal with lots of people on a daily basis and am often in very close contact with them - Yep I am a Nurse. I have a Student Nurse in tow and I am on my way to a patient at home. I go in to their living room and am asked to sit down. As this is a long interview I go to remove my coat and as I am about to do this I can suddenly smell a stale sweaty smell! Really quite ripe! It nearly overpowers me and throws me quite off balance. I decide to keep my coat on as I can't believe how much I smell. There I am cooking in my jacket next to a fire that is nearly on full and getting very red in the face. All that is going through my mind is 'Did I forget to put on my deodorant?' I am praying for my phone to ring so I can leave. When the interview was over I nearly ran from the house and in the security of my own car I explaint to my Student what is wrong and she says 'Yes she thought she could smell something earlier' Flabbergasted, I get home that evening and throw my 3 for 2 bargains in the bin. I will never use it again.

karenuk - 10/07/02 I see you have written a lot of opinions in a short time. It is advisable to write just one or two opinions a day, making sure each one is longer and more detailed.
