When all the information about e-coli and mrsa came about I got very worried about protecting my children from the germs that were being spread. I had noticed that when visiting a hospital they had alot of dry hand wash that you had to use to ensure patients safety. One day my mother in law bought back several bottles of this because it was on a special deal. I had recently had a new baby at the time and I think she was as worried as what we were. We are all smokers, although we do not smoke around the children the harmfulness is still on our skin and clothes so this dry wash was handy after having a cigerette. I still wash my hands before I ... Read the complete review

I purchased this before a trip to China as I had been warned that toilets rarely had toilet paper and where rarely ever cleaned. When I was looking for a hand sanitiser it was hard to pick one out as being superior to others. All had bold claims of killing of killing and destroying practically everything bar the skin on your hands. So this was at a reduced price and was also the cheapest. I bought the 200ml bottle, however it comes in a smaller 100ml bottle. This is here where my girlfriend would say 200ml is too big for her handbag. However, as I do not have a hand bag I do not have this worry. The bottle is made of plastic and is recyclable and it has a ... Read the complete review

Having two young boys who are constantly picking up nasty things off the pavements including poo, I try to keep this sort of thing handy. I was buying the Carex one but when I saw foxyreds review of this and that it was only 47p for a 50ml, I swapped to this instead. The bottle claims that it kills 99.9% of bacteria which is good enough for me and it's half the price of other gels. When you open the bottle and take a sniff, it reminds me of my vodka drinking days and to be honest makes me feel a little sick. The stuff comes out of the bottle easily enough and whilst it's not really thick, it's not thin enough to 'slop' off of your hands and fall to ... Read the complete review

There's lot of attention in the media about the importance of good hygiene, especially surrounding Swine Flu and hand washing is an important part of this. It's not always practical to wash your hands with soap and water as they're not always available so that's where dry wash antibacterial hand gel comes in. When I'm out and about I always have hand wipes, tissues and a bottle of dry wash hand gel - you can never be too organised, especially when I'm looking after my sister's children!! I've tried Carex hand gel and it works well but when I saw this was only 47p from Asda I decided to give it a go. I managed to lose my first bottle of this 2 days after ... Read the complete review

Lately we're all being bombarded with watch out you may get swine flu leaflets through our front doors and many of us are aware of MRSA (My Father died in hospital due to it) and one thing I'm incredibly fussy about due to this fact is hand hygiene...I really know how important it is. We all have germs that pass about and make each-other ill....that's life but me, well I have bad health anyway and if I can minimise the risk of catching anything from flu to salmonella (door handles) well I'll use it! I always carry around anti-bacterial gel with me and if I'm out say in a pub or nightclub I feel really weird if I forget to take one and it spoils my night for ... Read the complete review
