Advantages: Aroma, cheap
Disadvantages: White marks, Wears off.
Intro
------
As i was walking through my local supermarket the other day, i noticed just how expensive deoderant was. I really could not believe that such a small tub of something can cost so much. Therefore, i was taken in by the little package that was being offered to me on the right hand side.
This stuff, was Asda Surge deoderant. It was a mere 88p and i thought for that price that you could not really go wrong. I had a little bit of my old deoderant left at home, so i thought, if this does not work, i will use that and then come and buy some of the proper stuff, its only 88p.
Fortunately, i had plenty of my old stuff, as this is not a product that i will be wearing often...
Aroma
--------
This is one of the big plus points of this product. It smells very much like a lynx product, i think it is africa, so on my first run i was very impressed. I did not think the smell was going to be a priority on a product which cost so little.
Unfortunately, it became clear that this had been a priority, and some of the more important things, were not.
White marks
---------------
This is my biggest problem with this money saving product. It leaves those horrible talcum powdery like marks all under your arms. Not what you want at all. Then, when you come to put a tee shirt on, it rubs off on that, gets all over your jeans, and is just not a pleasant experience. Not something you want from deoderant.
24 Hours
-----------
This is quite blatently a lie. I think there was a decimal point missed out here. I am probably being slightly harsh, but this stuff will give you about 10 hours protection tops, so it really is worth spending the extra cash for a longer lasting product.
Summary
-----------
Have been a big fan of the essential care range, not on this occasion though. Clearly budget deoderant is not something which is quite right yet.
