... empty. During the end of the bottle, you can still see some gel, but are unable to reach it which is a little bit of a pain. Its also wasting, which I dont like. Maybe this is something Asda can look at with regards to its packaging. Overall Opinion I am truly happy with this product and as long as I am able to get this product, I will do so! Smells great, has a great price and does what it needs to do. What more do you want from a shower gel!...more

Premium Review Asda Fruity Raspberry and Red Currant Shower Gel: Brilliant! Just Brilliant! (558 words)

I usually tend to shop at Asda or Tesco for groceries and other such things. I needed some shower gel, so naturally headed for the aisle with the shower gel! I stumbled across Asda's own shower gel, which come in a range of flavours and smells. The many ranges of flavours/ smells comes in: Raspberry and Red Currant, Orange and Mango, Lime and Kiwi and Mint and Tea Tree. I opened a bottle of each (I know your prob not supposed to) in order to smell them. I opted for the Raspberry and Red Currant. Plus it was a nice girlie colour. The Smell I will talk about the smell of the product first as this is what attracted me to it. The smell of raspberries and ...  Read the complete review

My husband offered to do the shopping this week, and as this is a rare occurrence, I happily sent him off with a comprehensive and detailed list in hand. I was in need of shower gel, and as I'm an absolute tart (i.e. no brand loyalty) when it comes to this essential everyday product I simply put on the list "Get something nice". And he did. He presented me with Asda's own Raspberry and Redcurrant Shower gel saying "will this do?". The packaging instantly struck me as being very much like Original Source shower gel with the opaque bottle, black flip lid and simple writing. The back of the bottle tells you the ingredients, ...  Read the complete review

After visiting Asda on a couple of occasions and there being no special offers on shower gel wise, I decided to try out the Asda own branded type, with there being a choice of four I decided on two particular "flavours" the review being on the first one. The shower gel I will now review is - "Asda essential care, fruity raspberry & redcurrant shower gel" You will be under no false impressions when first seeing this gel, there are no frills and fancy decorations on this bottle, though the vivid colour of the gel itself visible through the opaque bottle being more than inviting in itself. There is the usual information to ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tutti Fruity (520 words)

With Asda's good offer on shower gels and other toiletries, we seem to be trying lots of different shower gels at the moment. The latest offering is Asda's own variety of shower gel; much like the orange variety we tried a couple of months ago. This time it's the turn of fruity raspberry and redcurrant which comes in a vibrant shade of red which you can see through the clear packaging. I really do think that Asda could package their shower gels slightly different. They come in a sleek almost too thin bottle, which doesn't take anything away from the volume of the product, but it does make the contents slightly more difficult to squeeze out from the bottle ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Asda Fruity Raspberry and Red Currant Shower Gel: Fruity fun in the shower... (437 words)

To say Asdas Essential Care Fruity Raspberry & Redcurrant shower gel is an 'Original Source' rip off would be harsh, its kinder to say its a "wannabe"... As an own brand alternative it is very nice although in my opinion it is shoddily put together - the square cap sits in the middle of its top and is easy enough to open but doesnt really sit flush in its housing. I wouldnt trust this product not to leak if left stood on its cap, although to be fair, the bottle is a curved rectangular shape and is probably designed to sit on its base. Im more used to shower gels standing on their caps for ease of use to be honest so its more than likely me ...  Read the complete review
