Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Wears Off Quicker Than Others
I work in a hot environment and I am constantly spending an absolute fortune on deodorants and body sprays. In my line of work I need to smell fresh and clean there is nothing worse than someone getting up close and personal when they have a body odour problem and I am paranoid about this, hence I have literally tried hundreds of different versions of this type of product over the years. Some body sprays can cost around the £2 mark for the top branded products however recently I noticed a pleasant fragrance worn by a work colleague and she told me that it was body spray which she had purchased from the Asda Essential Care range called Hot Pink Body Spray. Needless to say the next time I was shopping in the store I popped a couple of cans of this product in my basket.
I was quite surprised that the sprays came in a few different varieties and only cost 47p each!!! A total bargain in my opinion as I always just blindly tend to buy Impulse which retails at around four times the price of this one. The spray is completely unmissable on the shelf as it comes in a very shocking bright pink metal cannister with the words "Hot Pink" written in white across the front. It is relatively simple in design however this can be forgiven when you consider its price tag. There is a clear plastic pink cap and the item is dispensed in spray form.
The product can be used all over the body and the manufacturers state that it will leave you feeling refreshed and fragranced. Using the product is simple just like any other similar product just shake the can well and spray lightly all over from a distance of around 15cm. Immediately you feel a light mist which has an incredibly pleasant fragrance. It feels light when it goes on and you are not engulfed in a cloud like some of the turbo cannisters available on the market. I suffer from allergies and asthma and I am pleased to report that there was no sneezing or coughing and I did not require to use my inhaler after applying the product. I noticed a wonderful cooling effect on my skin which was lovely in that hot weather we had a few weeks ago which alas feels like a distant memory now!!!!! The fragrance reminded me of strawberry candy bon bons. It was not sickly sweet and the scent did last for a good while however I have to say that it is probably not as potent as some other body sprays that I have used in the past. However generally I was pleased with the overall results and would highly recommend that you carry a can of this in your hand bag.
This product comes with Asda Try Me Love Me money back guarantee. In which they will refund and replace the product if you are not completely satisfied with it. However I would doubt whether you would need to use this service as I thought this was generally great value for money. Overall worth a try.
