Newest Review: ... to do scar tissue massage and need to use a moisturising hand cream for this. Atrixo is absolutely ideal for this purpose. ... more

... It is quite a thin cream when applied to the hands and it has a sort lubricated texture, not sticky thick cream like some. It certainly does a great job of moisturising. It keeps your skin so soft and supple! Some creams have ridiculous smells and would put you off using them completely, this one is not like that. It's smell is actually relatively pleasant. Another handy thing with Atrixo is you can get it in differing size tubs. It comes in a tiny wee 50ml tub which is ideal for storing in a pocket if you're out the...more

Premium Review Atrixo Enriched Moisturising Cream: Atrixo Atrixo, It's So Soft! (891 words)
by - written on 16/03/08 (Very useful, 217 readings)
Rating:

Atrixo is a brand name, which, by its very name seems to crop up as a reliable and staple hand cream moisturiser, and can be found on most shelves of Pharmacies and local newsagents. It sits amongst products such as Astral's "lightly whipped" moisturiser even though both products are owned by the same company (much to the chagrin of Beiersdorf who don't list the product on their website) and against Astral which may well have a high leading popular actress (the soulful and sensual Joanna Lumley) advertising it on TV. Atrixo fans who are in the know will testify that Atrixo is one of the best popular hand creams on the market, not just as its available in a tube ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review No Trix just a great hand cream! (783 words)
by - written on 19/12/08 (Very useful, 167 readings)
Rating:

I always used to have great hands, managing to keep the skin soft despite all the hands on jobs, creative hobbies and of course the rigours of looking after home and family, recently however I was diagnosed with a condition which caused my Thyroid to start attacking itself and stop producing vital hormones, alongside other symptoms of the condition I quickly developed dry skin on the palms of my hands, with it cracking and peeling in places. Apart from not wanting to be a woman with hands like a builder I also found them very uncomfortable and decided to look into getting a good hand cream to treat them, my Mum recommended Atrixo and so on one of my regular trips into ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Atrixo Enriched Moisturising Cream: Why you should always listen to your grandma (643 words)
by - written on 18/10/08 (Very useful, 63 readings)
Rating:

Like most of my purchases, I first bought this when it was on offer about a year ago. I was in desperate need of some hand cream and the reduced price plus a glowing recommendation from my grandma made my mind up to give this a go. Despite suffering from constantly dry/ red and cracked hands during the winter I'm not a big fan of hand cream, mostly due to the fact that I hate that greasy feeling you get that takes an age to go away. From my first use my opinion of hand cream has dramatically changed and I actually enjoy using this product! So much so that I'm on my fourth pot already! The main reason this hand cream is so different from any other that I have ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review THE HAND CREAM THAT WORKS. (542 words)
by - written on 09/05/08 (Very useful, 98 readings)
Rating:

---ATRIXO ENRICHED MOISTURISING CREAM--- I have been using Atrixo for a few years now and find it to be an excellent hand cream. I have tried quite a few alternatives but find that this is the only one that really soothes my hands when they are dry, cracked and sore. Atrixo is a classic hand cream. No frills.- My hands are really sensitive and when I use washing up liquid anywhere near them they become very sore. They also get very dry and really rough in the winter months and I find Atrixo sorts them out straight away and 'keeps' them in soft condition. It seems to form a really good protective barrier upon the hands against the harsh ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Atrixo Enriched Moisturising Cream: Cheap hand cream (305 words)
by - written on 02/06/09 (Very useful, 19 readings)
Rating:

I bought this when I was looking for a hand cream in Bodycare and spotted this one at just 99p for 100ml. It comes in either a tub or a tube, the one I have is the tube version. This has a flip up lid which it stands on. The lid fastens tightly so there's no need to worry about spills and leaks if you keep it in a bag. It's easy to get how much you want out of the tube by just squeezing it a little, but once you get to the end of the tube it can be quite difficult to get out. The cream is fairly thick textured, and it feels cool, smooth and creamy. When I apply it I find I have to really massage it into the skin to make it sink in, and it does take ...  Read the complete review
