Avoca handwash

I tend to use a lot of handwash both at work and at home, and when i noticed that work was buying these handwashes, I decided to buy a case for home use.

WHAT DOES IT DO?

The handwash has a number of claims, these being:

* To remove bacteria from hands
* To combat nasty odours
* To moisturise
* To be gentle enough for all skin types

PRODUCT AND PACKAGING

The handwash comes in a 500ml clear plastic bottle with all instructions on the back. To get the handwash out, there is a pump action top which is handy if hands are very dirty and you don't want to touch the bottle- just press and out it comes.

The handwash itself looks green when it is in the bottle although when I pump out some of the product and it is on my hands it is clear with only a very slight green tinge. I can't smell any real discernible smell but what scent there is I would describe as medicated rather than being fruity or floral. I suppose this goes hand in hand with the fact that it is antibacterial.

USING IT...

The handwash should be pumped onto the hands lathered with water and then rinsed off thoroughly. You should be careful not to get it into your eyes as I once did when moving my hair to one side because it stings.

VERDICT...

An excellent value hand wash, which is easy to use and cleans hands effectively. I don't know whether it does remove bacteria but it is mild enough for the whole family to use and hasn't caused any of us any nasty reactions.

I would recommend this to anyone who goes through alot of hand wash and wants something which is effective and not too expensive
