Advantages: doesn't irritate your skin, can be used for multiple purposes, cheap and cheerful
Disadvantages: not so nice smelling
It's brilliant being an Avon rep. I get to try out all the stuff before it appears in the brochure, yet heres one item I've had for ages and not got round to using it until this week that is. I've always been on the sensitive side, not just my skin you hear, but my feelings too. Then this week we had all been itching at work, so out came the most sensitive products I could find in my drawers. We put it down to stress, as it's getting worse where I work for staff leaving and having to work with minimum staff. The product I grabbed first was Avons Aqua Shower Gel in the Sensitive range. It's very basic to look at, just stands in a white clear bottle with a hook shaped handle. It's a good sized 200 ml and only cost me 99p at the time. Great to take on holiday too as it's made from heavy plastic, shouldn't smash then. To be honest I don't really shower, I tend to have a bath then squirt some onto my body and massage in with a scrunchie, this goes much further and really lathers up well. Also i have used it instead of bubble bath, just squirt some under a hot running tap and watch the froth appear, does a great job. As for the fragrance, most people say it's fragrance free, but to me it does have a smell, not too sure how to explain it, I'm not even sure if i even like it, smells peculiar. The only way I can describe it is , maybe Floral with a hint of Baby Lotion, no don't be daft Belinda. I did like the feel of it, the consistency was just nice, not too runny and not too thick, it lathered up well, and cleansed my body ok. It didn't leave me with any more blotches than I already had, even my sensitive dad can use it too. He hasn't much hair and gets Eczema on his forehead, he finds it doesn't irritate or sting him. I did feel refreshed afterwards, but then I always do when I've had a bath. It's early days to tell if my skin has gone back to nor
mal and stopped itching, but this did ease it off a little bit. The other fragrances in the range are, Citrus, a Lemon Colour Aloe, a pale green colour Marine, a Blue Colour Lavender, a Lilac Colour In brochure 6, they cost 5 for £ 5.00 or £1.75 each.
