      Disadvantages

      Bali Bliss wont be missed

I bought this a few months back from Avon priced down to £2 instead of £3.50. I liked the look of the bottle and like buying different body sprays so thought i'd give this one a go. When it arrived my first impression was a good one. The bottle looked pretty and inside it looked very shimmery and glittery. When sprayed it comes out as a wet mist which takes a few seconds to dry, but i'd used the FCUK polished body spray previously (see other review) and preferred the mist spray, so I had no problems with this. The packaging states the spray is a shimmering body mist and I liked the brand design on the bottle. Apart from that there is not much else of a description on the bottle, the back of the bottle states its made in Poland and includes a list of ingredients alongside a list of what looks like "shimmering body mist" written in about 15 different languages.

The first few times I used the product, I liked it. It had a fruity smell to it that was quite strong and noticable. However I did notice that although the product said it was meant to be shimering, I didn't find much shimmer to come out of it at all, or it wasn't noticeable when applied. The bottle itself is 100ml and it is long lasting as you don't need to use many sprays of it.

I'm now halfway through the bottle, but i've found it wont be a product I will be purchasing again. Although it seemed nice the first few times I applied it, i've found that I have pretty much gotten sick of the smell and i'm just wanting to use up the bottle so it gets finished. The more I use it, the more I notice the strong fruityness of the smell and its a smell that reminds me more of a shower gel rather than a body spray. Therefore Bali Bliss wont be a product that i'll be buying again as I found the scent to be too strong or fruity for my liking to be wearing daily. I've used and preferred other sprays than this one and so it only gets 2 stars from me.

      Thanks for reading.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

Not for me this one though I do like the bottle!

I do love body mists and sprays for instant freshness. I own rather alot of them so when I spotted this one in Avon priced at £3.50 a bottle I decided to get it as I like the look of the bottle in the catalogue but also the promise of added shimmer? I was sold and just really fancied it!

        The Packaging:

100ml see-through plastic bottle and is has a pinky coloured theme going on. On the front of the bottle there is a pretty pink pattern and there is a see-through sort of pump sprayer to the top of it (again in pink) and a clear lid/cap that goes over that. On the front of the bottle I am told that it is Bali Bliss 'Shimmering Body Mist' and that its by Avon. On the back of the bottle other information listed includes lots of stuff in foreign languages, ingredients and the size is stated and I'm given contact details for Avon. It's a nice looking girly bottle this one and I do appreciate being able to see through it.

        The Body Mist:

The spray itself within the bottle looks a pinky colour with lots of shimmer and particles of silver coloured glitter going on within it. You simply spray this on your skin, pump by pump and it sprays out easily and like water so it is quite wet so you do have to gently spray and it contains no colour at all when being applied to the skin

It dries fast though and you can't feel it on the skin at all and you don't get a shimmer on the skin as such but a few particles of glitter do go on the skin but not too much and even when the liquid dries the glitter that is on still stays put very well and its subtle.

Smell wise well I'm not overly keen on the smell of this one. It has a harsh smell of flowers to it with a sort of fruity overtone to it and I would call it a tropical fragrance and to be fair it was sort of the fragrance I expected it to be by the name of it. The fragrance lasts on the skin a good couple of hours, it is feminine and sweet, floral and fruity and does calm down fragrance wise over time and after a while of it being on my skin I don't mind it at all and rather like it but it really goes very subtle smelling when worn for a while.

All in all this is a nice enough spray and unusual in fragrance though not really my personal cup of tea. I don't mind the glitter in it but if your expecting a shimmer as such your going to be disappointed with this one cos it certainly doesn't give that!

Only available from Avon priced at (usually) £3.50 a bottle but at the time of writing this review is on offer at £1.50 a bottle.
